When splitting helps
Sending only the page that matters keeps things clear and protects the rest of the document. Splitting is also handy when a scanner has bundled several receipts or contracts into one file, or when an upload form has a page limit you need to stay under.
Pages or ranges
You can pull out a single page, a range like pages 3 to 7, or break the document into one file per page. Choose whichever matches the task — extracting a single signed page is different from splitting a booklet into chapters.
